What Is Axis Team Training?

Axis Team Training (ATT) is daily performance programming delivered inside a structured team environment.

It’s designed for people who want high quality strength and conditioning without needing a fully customized 1:1 training program.

You get a roadmap to follow.
You get expert programming.
You get coaching and accountability.

But you also get the simplicity of a system that just works.

Show up. Open the app. Train.

No guessing. No program hopping. No wasting time trying to figure out what to do.

Where This Programming Comes From

For the past decade, I’ve primarily trained tactical athletes and people who use their body for their profession.

Over 1/2 of that time was training IN PERSON (I feel this is important to note as an "online" coach).

Military. Law Enforcement. Fire/Rescue. EMS. Doctors and Nurses. People whose jobs demand real physical capability.

During that time I’ve programmed for nearly 10,000 athletes (and counting, as my programs are still used to this day.)

That experience shaped how I think about training.

Tactical athletes don’t have the luxury of specializing in one physical quality. They need to be strong, conditioned, durable, and capable (mentally and physically) under fatigue.

And honestly… those same qualities apply to everyone, although most people nowadays lose sight of that. (I'm not talking to those people - I'm talking to the ones who do want to keep their abilities until they kick the bucket).

So you may not be kicking in doors for a living, but life still demands a lot physically.

Kids. Work. Chores. Caretaking. Long days on your feet. And whatever unexpected challenges come up in your life.

Axis Team Training is built for tactical athletes AND anyone who wants to be thoroughly prepared for whatever life will throw at them.

And yes… Looking better naked is a pretty great side effect too.

Why I Built Axis Team Training

After years of coaching people 1:1, I noticed something important.

Most people don’t actually need a personalized program.

What they really need is:

• A smart training system
• Progressive programming
• A structured weekly schedule
• Coaching when questions come up
• Accountability and community

My goal with most 1:1 clients has always been to get them to the point where they can simply follow the ongoing programming I build for myself.

That programming is now Axis Team Training.

It’s the same training framework and methodologies I’ve used for 10+ years, and it’s the program I still follow personally every day alongside the members.

I know it works because I’ve seen it work... For myself and for thousands of other humans who just want to stay strong and capable for life.

The Philosophy Behind the Programming

If you care about performance longevity, the body needs to train multiple qualities.

Strength alone isn’t enough.
Cardio alone isn’t enough.
Mobility alone isn’t enough.

Long term health and performance require developing several physical capacities:

• Strength
• Power and Speed
• Anaerobic capacity
• Endurance and stamina
• Joint durability/mobility
• Trunk integrity and rotational ability

Miss one for long enough and that quality WILL decline and potentially disappear.

Axis programming is designed to build all of them over time through a cyclic training methodology, meaning we cycle through different training focuses (never completely leaving any trait in the dust) with the intent of being WELL ROUNDED.

Each training block typically runs 6-20 weeks, with different phases emphasizing different qualities throughout the year.

Over time, this builds exactly what you want in a fit human being.

Stronger.
More durable.
Better conditioned.
More capable.

The Importance of the “Axis”

The name Axis isn’t random.

Your trunk is the axis of human movement.

Nearly every athletic (and even day to day) movement involves force traveling between the lower body and the upper body. That force must pass through the trunk.

If the trunk is weak or poorly controlled:

• force leaks
• performance suffers
• injury risk increases

That’s why Axis training places a strong emphasis on trunk strength, stability, and rotational ability.

You’ll train:

• anti extension and anti rotation
• extension and rotation
• heavy loaded carries
• rotational movement with kettlebells, clubs, maces, ropes, pvc pipes, and anything else you have laying around in your gym
• fully integrated trunk work

The goal isn’t six pack abs.

The goal is a strong, resilient spine and a trunk that can transfer force efficiently.

Built for Home Gyms

Axis workouts are designed for maximum efficiency.

Most sessions take 45-60 minutes, and the equipment requirements are intentionally flexible.

The programming easily adapts to training spaces like:

• garage or basement gyms
• outdoor setups
• spare rooms
• living room or whatever other room gyms

It also adapts to any skill level and almost any equipment setup.

Barbells and dumbbells.
Pullup bar and/or gymnastics rings.
Kettlebells.
Sandbags.
Bodyweight.
Maces and clubs.

The goal is simple: remove friction so you can train consistently anywhere.

What the Weekly Training Looks Like

Most weeks include 4-5 workouts that are 45-60 minutes in duration.

These sessions combine:

• full body strength training
• conditioning
• explosive and speed work
• trunk focused training
• athletic movement

Across a week you’ll typically see a mix of:

• strength work in all planes of motion
• aerobic and anaerobic conditioning
• trunk, mobility, and durability training

Everything works together to develop a completely capable human, not just someone who is good at one thing.

Coaching and Community

One of the biggest reasons I built Axis Team Training was to create a community of like minded people training together.

Members come from all over the country — and even around the world.

Everyone has their own life, schedule, and responsibilities.

But every day, we still show up and train together.

Inside the platform you’ll have:

• Daily coaching support
• Direct messaging access to me
• A team chat with other members
• Workout threads where you log your results and share feedback

People share wins (and even big Ls), ask questions, and we all push each other and hold each other accountable.

Consistency gets a lot easier when you’re not doing it alone.

Who Axis Is For

Axis is built for people who want to train seriously but sustainably.

People who want:

• structure
• expert programming
• efficient workouts
• long term progress

It’s ideal for:

• tactical athletes
• home gym athletes
• busy professionals
• former athletes who still want to perform
• people who want to stay strong and capable for life

You don’t need to be elite. Hell, we welcome you even as a beginner!

You just need to show up and do the work.

The Long Game

Fitness isn’t about a 6 week challenge. It’s about building a body that stays capable for life.

Axis Team Training is designed for exactly that.

Strength. Conditioning. Durability. Longevity.

And as a bonus… You’ll probably end up looking a lot better naked too.
